Video Shoot of “The Awakening”

Since the last update and the world falling apart, Christie Josef and The Purpose has been busy creating a new album (The Awakening), creating a video for the title song with Joshua Rivera/Rollstars, and adding some new amazing musicians to the line-up.

René Ormae-Jarmer (Here Comes Everybody and Kingsmen Thunder Drum Line) takes over from Chuck Heinrich on drums bringing her amazing skill and perfect beat to The Awakening and now to the band’s live performances, and Carl Smith (Crazy8s, Rubberneck, The Balafone Marimba Ensemble, Sabroso, and Aaron Meyer-Concert Rock Violinist), who blew the percussion out of the planet on the new CD, has officially joined the band.

At a beautiful hand-crafted stage in the countryside of Washington and the breathtaking landscape of Eastern Oregon, Christie Josef and the Purpose recorded their latest video for The Awakening. Joshua Rivera crafted a lush story and wonderful capture of the song.
